Application-led procurement
Each scenario starts with a documented part requirement, not an assumed universal fit. For truck turn signal lights, voltage, lamp socket and column or body interface must be restated against the chassis family.
Clarify catalog references, packing units, assortment and reorder expectations. For a truck turn signal lights line, keep 12 V and 24 V families on separate sheets and ask whether the flasher relay and harness travel with the lamp or switch. Gross package weight and minimum order quantity, if quoted, belong next to the packing unit rather than in marketing copy. New versus remanufactured lines must stay separate when reman stalks appear.
Clarify installation position, included hardware and vehicle application range. Column interface, switch pinout and lamp socket type should be restated against the chassis code. A workshop stocking mixed aftermarket levers still needs model year coverage written down, not inferred from lever shape.
Separate vehicle configurations and planned quantities by application. Flasher load matters when LED turn signal bulbs replace filament bulbs on the same circuit. Ask suppliers for load-compatible flasher statements rather than a single amp headline, and keep sample approval distinct from later batch traceability.
Document altered interfaces and request supplier confirmation before accepting alternatives. Custom column stalks, relocated side markers or a one-wire conversion on a truck circuit are project changes, not catalog swaps. Leave OE reference as identification only; do not treat it as an authorization path.
